King Bowdie Prepares to Release Mixtape After Unveiling of "FR FR" and "Chocolate"

By: Julz Mancini

There are independent artists who use their struggles as inspiration to learn and perfect their craft. King Bowdie, a South Florida native, recognized his love for music at a young age. Initially creating lyrics without music to bring them to life, he knew he had to come up with a solution. Typically fifth graders can not invest in or purchase production for their music. King Bowdie got to work and became a self-taught producer. As he captured his unique sound, King Bowdie made the decision to put his pen down for a period of time in order to hone in on his love for creating beats.

During the 11th grade, King Bowdie became reacquainted with his pen. He was able to utilize his talent in production, immaculate pen game, and his ability to engineer, to present one of a kind projects to the world. King Bowdie recently took the plunge and anointed himself as a full time music artist. One thing the industry knows for certain….self investment and consistency are imperative to an artist’s success. Bowdie has proven his worthiness time and time again.

Within a matter of months, Bowdie has opened up for major acts such as, JT Money, Trina, and Mike Smiff. Currently, the young creative is promoting his two recent singles titled, “FR FR” (trap-style club banger) and “Chocolate” (ladies’ anthem to celebrate melanin). King Bowdie is also currently working on his next mixtape set to be released this summer! Be sure to follow him on social media and stream his music!
